2021 Year Wrap Up
As we wrap up for the year, we reflect on the year that was. And what a year it was for the team!
We officially transitioned from ALINK to NQIT
The decision to fully leave the ALINK name and brand behind after more than 20 years, was a major one, and not something we took lightly. However, with our main office now based in Townsville, we wanted to make North Queensland businesses our main focus in the next phase of our business.
With this transition, our ALINK social media pages are being merged into our new NQIT pages.
Moved Offices
We relocated our main office from its Denham Street location to the new Ingham Road location. The new location has significantly more room and gives us greater opportunities to provide more services to our existing, and new, clients in the future.
Staff & Clients
Throughout 2021, we onboarded multiple new clients in a variety of different industries from Townsville and strengthened our relationships with our existing clients.
We also have a very strong team supporting our clients, and have received nothing but positive feedback about the quality of service being delivered by our current team.
Our team actioned over approximately 9,000 support tickets from clients in the 2021 year - that averages out to 180 per week!
Data Centre Relocation
After 20+ years of having our data centre based in Melbourne, the decision was made to relocate/migrate our cloud infrastructure to the iSeek Data Centre facility in Townsville. It was an easy decision after we toured the facility, as we can continue to provide our customers all over Australia with the same level of data security as before. In fact, we feel that the secure facilities and personal touch provided by the iSeek team in Townsville, provide our team with the certainty that migrating all our Queensland data requirements to Townsville was the right choice for our customers and our future.
What's Next?
While 2021 was a big year for our business, we are looking forward to taking things up a level in 2022.
